About our 7800 South car wash

Our 7800 South location is at 2514 W 7800 S in West Jordan, close to the Taylorsville
and Murray line. It is the easier of our two tunnels to reach from the north end of
the valley, and it is the one most of our Kearns and Midvale customers use.

The wash itself is an express tunnel, so you stay in the car and the whole thing takes
minutes. Afterwards the self-serve vacuum area is free to use with any wash, with no
time limit and nothing extra to pay, and Unlimited members have their own lane into
the tunnel.

This location became WaterWorks Express on 28 October 2025.

If you washed here under the previous owner, this is not the same wash. A lot of the
equipment was broken when we took the keys, so we rebuilt it: new bearings and motors
through the tunnel, new brushes with fresh foam, and new dryers. The vacuums had clogged
arches throughout, so we cleared them, fitted new filters, and put them on a regular
maintenance schedule. Then we repainted the site, replaced the signage, and added our
mat cleaners, including the molded plastic mat washer below.

The molded mat cleaner

This is the one piece of equipment that is only at 7800 South, and if you run WeatherTech,
Husky, or any other molded plastic liners, it is worth driving here for.

Standard mat cleaners are built for carpet. Molded liners are the opposite problem: the
dirt sits in the channels, and once you rinse them you are left holding a soaking wet tray
with nowhere to put it. Our machine washes the liner and dries it, so it goes back in the
footwell clean and dry instead of dripping.

Winter is what it is really for. Salt and slush collect in molded mats faster than anywhere
else in the vehicle, and salt sitting in the channels is what eventually eats the carpet
underneath.

location: $11 Express, $17 Works, $20 Platinum and $26 Ultimate, the last two carrying
